A charming two-piece English Staffordshire pug jar dating to around 1880. This "Puggie" features a wonderfully expressive face and a breed-true posture. He’s detailed with a bronze-luster collar tied in a bow at the back, split front legs, and a distinctive curled tail. The surface shows an overall crazing typical of lighter-colored pieces from the period, adding to its antique character.
