"From our hand to your hand" is the heartwarming philosophy behind these animal companions from Japanese design studio T-Lab. By using sustainable lumber and taking their time shaping each cute creature - they refer to their process as polepole,  which means "slowly" in Swahili - the artisans at T-Lab. transform flora in to fauna, creating charming examples of the natural world while respecting its finite bounty.

Each animal is hand-carved, then polished and painted by artisans, so no two are exactly alike. Each piece is unique and slight variations may occur.
